Job Description:

Overton Protection Services (Overton Security) is currently hiring for a Security Site Manager in the South Dallas Area for a local college campus. All candidates for this opening must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the security industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management position. Those with college campus security experience are preferred.

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00-22.00/hr (Salaried)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6a-2p

Site Manager Oversight:

• The Site Manager and officers are for performing access control, visitor escort, campus patrols, and incident response duties on campus, but the Site Manager is for ensuring the performance of all officers meets client expectations.
• The Site Manager is also responsible for the flow of communication between clients, guards, and management. The Site manager will work closely with Dispatch management to ensure after-hours operational support of managed accounts through proactive communication with officers on the Swing and Overnight shifts (including weekends).
• Conducting occasional site inspections should be performed so as to spot-check officers’ appearance and performance.
• Additional Pay: In addition to their weekly salary, the Site Manager will be paid at a straight hourly rate for hours worked onsite interacting, communicating, or spot training officers.

More Detailed Summary of Duties:

• Provide customer-friendly interaction and service to campus staff, students, and visitors.
• Incident response, triage, and reporting.
• Be instrumental in training, auditing, and proofreading various reports, and ensure Security Guards are knowledgeable on how to respond to emergencies or specific client needs.
• Filing call-offs or open shifts
• Provide oversight to ensure professional image (including the hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are being maintained; Post inspections also include checking officers’ appearance/performance and inspecting the guard shack to ensure it is being properly maintained, cleaned, and organized.
• In charge of enforcing rules and regulations regarding Overton Security policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the client and Overton Security.
• Work with Account Managers to appropriately document coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, training plans, and manage relationships with Security Officers.

Qualifications:

• Previous 5 years contract security, 3 years supervisor or management experience, and college campus experience is preferred

• Must have a good understanding of access control and fundamental security service expectations.

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

• Ability to work in a collaborative management environment with the ability to work independently.

• Strong computer and smartphone skills needed.
