We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Product Development Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the successful launch and coordination of food products from overseas to shelf.
Position Overview
As a Product Development Project Manager, you will play a central role in bringing imported food products to market. You will own the full lifecycle of product development — from supplier coordination to product readiness, working cross-functionally with suppliers, logistics, and sales teams. You will also support continuous improvement, process efficiency, and communication flow to help scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management: Drive assigned product lines from concept to delivery, ensuring clear milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Supplier Engagement: Manage and nurture relationships with international suppliers, including onboarding, sampling, product specs, and pricing.
- Development Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to develop new products or adapt existing ones to client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Logistics & Operations Interface: Liaise with logistics and operations teams to coordinate production timelines, import requirements, documentation, and inventory flow.
- Sales Enablement: Serve as the product development link to the sales team by providing technical/product knowledge, documentation, and timelines to support client success.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, timelines, and dashboards to track project status and communicate updates internally and externally.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline development workflows, reporting, or supplier collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in product development, project management, or supply chain within the food, CPG, or import industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of work experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage time and priorities while collaborating across teams.
- Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of food import documentation is a plus.
