What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Milling Foreman position at Overland Corporation?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the asphalt milling crew.
- Ensure proper setup and operation of milling equipment for smooth, consistent, and aligned asphalt milling.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Calculate daily project budget based on crew and equipment size.
- Accurately calculate and order daily truck counts. Manage truck counts throughout the day to reduce costs and best utilize the trucking fleet.
- Hold daily safety meetings with assigned crew including weekly toolbox talks. Ensure crew members are completing all safety tasks assigned to them.
- Assist with light mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting of milling equipment.
- Manage traffic control during milling operation
- Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt paving construction.
- Flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, and Saturdays.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (Required).
- Must pass a company-paid drug test.
- Knowledge of job site safety protocols and equipment safety checks.
- Strong understanding of asphalt mixes, materials, and plant operations.
- Ability to work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely.
- Deadline and detail-oriented work approach.
