Job Summary
We are seeking a
skilled and vigilant ICCU Nurse with CPR certification
to provide advanced cardiac and critical care to patients in the Intensive Coronary Care Unit. The ideal candidate should be trained in emergency response, cardiac monitoring, and life-saving procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor critically ill cardiac patients continuously
- Perform CPR and emergency life-support procedures when required
- Assist in cardiac emergencies such as MI, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest
- Monitor ECG, vital signs, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic status
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections as prescribed
- Assist doctors during procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and defibrillation
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment (cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps)
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Educate patients' families regarding care and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration
- CPR Certification (Mandatory)
- ACLS / BLS certification (Preferred)
- 13 years of ICCU / ICU / Critical Care experience
- Willingness to work night shifts and rotational duties
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac care and emergency protocols
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in life-threatening situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with hospital EMR/HIS systems
