Position Overview
ACW Engineering is a new engineering firm established to provide comprehensive in-house design services for a prominent utility construction company. We are seeking a skilled Autodesk Civil 3D designer to join our team remotely or at our office location. This role will support both our civil and electrical divisions, offering hands-on experience across a variety of design projects including subdivisions, site development, water and sewer utilities, street design, and both overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Our firm delivers a diverse range of design opportunities not typically available at other engineering firms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an in-house Civil 3D designer.
- Assist other Civil 3D drafters with design projects.
- Follow drafting and plan preparation standards.
- Produce technical drawings and plan sets.
- Perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience using Civil 3D within the Civil Infrastructure industry.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with other team members.
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Willingness to mentor other team members.
- Strong attention to detail.
