About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Kingman, AZ. This is a highly autonomous role ideal for someone who thrives working independently, managing their own workload, and taking full ownership of projects from assessment through execution.
This position is field-driven, with frequent on-site evaluations, and requires strong decision-making skills and confidence in determining structural solutions, scopes, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site structural assessments for residential, commercial, and utility-related projects
- Evaluate structural integrity and provide clear actionable recommendations
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and budgets
- Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and safety standards
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of progressive structural engineering experience (minimum required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required with Arizona reciprocity in 6 weeks
- Registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.) preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Ability to prepare structural drawings and designs according to project requirements
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu software
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, materials, and building codes
- Proven ability to define scope and estimate project costs
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate complex concepts effectively
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kingman, AZ (frequent on-site work required)
Compensation
- Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 annually (DOE)
