Job Description
We are hiring a dependable Cabinetry Door Builder & Assembler to join our production floor. This hands-on role is focused on building, finishing, and inspecting cabinet doors and related components to meet strict quality and fit standards. Ideal candidates enjoy practical, detail-oriented work, are comfortable with woodworking machinery, and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality pieces.
What You Will Do
- Set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machinery used for door cutting, shaping, and assembly.
- Measure, cut, glue, clamp, and assemble door components using jigs and fixtures to tight tolerances.
- Perform finish prep and basic sanding; inspect parts for fit, finish, and quality before release to downstream operations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and accurately to complete door builds.
- Maintain accurate production records, job tickets, and material usage logs.
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized; follow shop housekeeping standards.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
- Support teammates with cross-functional tasks when workload requires and assist with special projects or prototype assemblies.
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic; punctuality required.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools; experience in woodworking, assembly, or manufacturing preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions and templates.
- Basic math skills for measuring and layout.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with safety policies.
What You Will Experience
- Work in a busy cabinet shop and warehouse environment with emphasis on safety and quality.
- Tasks involve standing, bending, repetitive hand motions, and handling materials throughout the shift.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and shop machinery; PPE like eye and ear protection and closed-toe shoes are required and provided.
- On-the-job training and opportunities for skill development in cabinetry production.
