We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and contribute to this mission.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for growth and management of our Key customers’ business. As the main point of contact for a group of existing Key customers, you will develop and maintain strong relationships, provide strong customer service and be responsible for upselling and cross selling our products and capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as lead contact for Key accounts, managing relationships including regular communication to understand current and future business, and discuss needs.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
- Responsible for existing Key customers’ Monthly HBI KPI’s and Quarterly Business Reviews to customers and internal business leaders.
- Work with other HBI businesses to cross sell to common existing customers.
- Schedule regular innovation sessions to present trends and prototypes.
- Proactively solicit, present, and see through cost savings initiatives.
- Maintain and grow knowledge of customer's business, competition, and industry.
- Work closely with internal functions to deliver business objectives that drive value to our customers.
- Overall responsibility for AM activities in successfully launching customer’s products within timelines.
- Overall responsibility for existing customer’s pricing, through development and annually.
- Responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting of our existing customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
- Utilize data to gain insights, competitive advantages, and identify white space to expand sales within existing customers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to customers.
- Create Account Plans for each key customer, highlighting strategies to develop business opportunities
- Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
- Utilize Project Management tools to onboard customers, sponsor projects and serve as key contact.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety Protocol:
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or similar field preferred.
- Eight years or more of account management experience required.
- Two years or more in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity or prior experience in the Nutraceutical, Food/Beverage industry, or packaging experience highly preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

- Computer familiarity is a requirement, particularly with Microsoft Office Programs, CRM Systems and ERP Systems.
