Our House Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director to join our team in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This is a full-time position, generally scheduled Monday through Friday. What You'll Do
- Help hire, train, and supervise our Resident Care Assistant team
- Build and maintain the team's monthly work schedule
- Oversee medication check-in/check-out and daily charting related to medications and resident status
- Support paperwork and processes across human resources, operations, and marketing
- Manage weekly grocery shopping for the community
- Share on-call rotation responsibilities and step in to provide direct resident care when needed
- Take on other duties as assigned to support the team and residents
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of experience working with seniors in long-term care (preferred)
- Background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Resident Care Assistant is a strong plus
- Strong communicator with sharp attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
- A compassionate, flexible, and welcoming personality that fits a close-knit team
- Experience with interviewing, training, scheduling, or supervising staff is a plus — we're willing to train the right candidate
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a health care-related field preferred
