- Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored mechanical solutions.
- Analyze customer specifications and propose suitable product configurations and modifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, including CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and application reports.
- Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale stages, including on-site visits if required.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or similar field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, applications engineering, or project work in rotating equipment industry.
- Experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
- Experience bidding and management industrial equipment projects.
- Familiarity with distribution model and/or industrial equipment sales.
- Experience with rotating equipment product lines and manufacturers, size and selection of pumps and rotating equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
