Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage starting at $29/hr. ., depending on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do:
- Complete initial training period.
- Perform routine maintenance, works, and reports directly to a skilled supervisor.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, including general arrangement drawings and shop sketches.
- Read dial indicator and micrometers.
- Determine bolt identification and classes as well as drill and tap selection.
- Identify and select rigging for routine tasks.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus. Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
- Strong understanding of mechanical fits, tolerances, and alignment procedures.
- Coachable and eager to learn.
- Familiar with API, ANSI, and OEM standards related to rotating equipment
- Possesses basic hydraulic and pneumatic skills and understanding.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
- Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
