We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team for a seasonal, full-time landscaping position with our customer, WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority).
Position: Landscaper
Type: Seasonal Full-Time (March through November 30)
Work Schedule:
Two schedules:
- Sunday to Thursday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Tuesday to Saturday | 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, planting, trimming, mulching, and pruning.
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and pathways.
- Work collaboratively with a team to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
- Ensure tools, vehicles, and work areas are clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscaping or a similar field.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Be prepared to undergo testing on a variety of landscaping equipment.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials as needed.
- A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.
