What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at OSMS - Multi EIN?
The Nurse Practitioner will work in partnership with physicians to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care and treat chronic and acute injuries. Through the application of evidenced-based decision making the nurse practitioner serves as an educator and clinical mentor to patients and members of the health care team with the goal of achieving optimal based patient outcomes. The nurse practitioner performs selected laboratory testing, offer referrals to physicians, write prescriptions, assists in the operating room, and performs office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
