Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods while maintaining quality service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders related to beverage service or catering events.
- Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operation throughout the event.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption to promote safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Strong skills in serving, cashiering, and basic math such as retail math or hospitality math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience in fine dining, catering, or brewing industries is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience with food handling, food industry operations, or retail math is advantageous.
