The Staff Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for assisting the pharmacist and technician in performing daily tasks to serve the patients. Those tasks include dispensing prescriptions, providing customer service to the patients in person and on the telephone, and any other duties assigned by the chief pharmacist.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or higher
- 1 or more years of experience working in a medical/clinical setting
- 1 or more years of experience in customer service
- Willing and able to work an 7:45-4:30 pm and/or 8:45-5:30 pm shifts on a rotational basis as requested
General Qualifications
- Knowledge of HIPPA and Privacy Act required
- A professional knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and techniques of a comprehensive pharmacy program
- Skills in developing pharmacy based data outcomes systems
- Knowledge of the current legal/regulatory statues that govern pharmacy services
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of EPIC and McKesson Enterprise electronic health records
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem solving skills
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
