- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or venue
- Maintain a lively and organized host stand, ensuring smooth flow of seating and reservations
- Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to optimize guest experience and seating arrangements
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly with a positive attitude, escalating issues when necessary
- Keep the waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in managing reservations and waitlists
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy periods
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
