Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Welcome customers into the restaurant and seat them

Provide customers menus and/or inform them of the QR code scanner

Answer customer questions as needed on food items, beers, or retail items

Thank guests and say goodbye as they leave

Look for ways to improve the guest experience by paying attention to details and anticipating needs

Always maintain a positive and proactive attitude with guests and coworkers
-
Know the menu items, including basic ingredients, preparation, allergies, and sensory descriptions (i.e., sweet, savory, spicy, roasted, etc.)

Understand the fundamentals of the beers offered and the brewing process
-
Report a guest opinions, feedback, or concerns to a manager
-
Alert a manager if problems arise or if assistance is needed

Inform a manager if the host stand becomes overwhelmed or overbooked
-
Complete normal and additional cleaning and sanitation as required
-
Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms.

Restock all items in bathrooms and throughout the facility as needed
-
Keep floors swept and free of debris
-
Keep host stand clean, organized, and stocked with menus and rollups
-
Maintain a working knowledge of all company and taproom policies and procedures
-
Wear the correct uniform and maintain neat, clean appearance
-
Perform other duties as assigned

High School diploma or higher, must be 18 years of age or older
-
Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card within new hire training period
-
Must be able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification within new hire training period
-
Must be available to work weekends
-
Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant doing above or similar duties or prior customer service experience is preferred

Very strong organizational skills.

Ability to always maintain professionalism even under high volume, stressful times, and situations
-
Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to give high priority to customer satisfaction
