Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead and expand our specialized Conversion Services business. This high-impact role focuses on market growth, strategic customer engagement, and the development of enhanced services in the specialty metals sector, including advanced materials such as Titanium and Nickel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build out and expand Conversion Services as a dedicated business line within a growing organization.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, analyze customer needs, and drive market discovery initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective customer targeting strategies while shaping pricing structures based on market intelligence.
- Lead cross-functional teams—including sales, production, operations, finance, and technical specialists—to deliver innovative and value-added solutions for clients.
- Serve as a primary subject matter expert representing capabilities in Titanium and other specialty metals.
- Establish strategic objectives and create business partnerships to support ongoing growth and market differentiation.
- Drive commercial results and pursue continuous improvement initiatives, including launching new services and expanding into new markets and regions.
- Own and execute the full business development lifecycle: strategy, outreach, negotiations, deal structuring, and customer relationship management.
- Resolve client and operational challenges in real-time, emphasizing both crisis management and proactive problem solving.
- Prepare and present business cases for evolving service lines, working closely with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
- Track market trends, perform competitive analysis, and maintain critical relationships to secure early wins and milestones.
- Develop pricing frameworks that support both value capture and long-term customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (technical background preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in sales engineering, product management, or business development, ideally specializing in specialty alloys/metals manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in market expansion, revenue generation, and customer engagement within high-visibility commercial roles.
- Expertise in metals processing/manufacturing; experience with Titanium, Nickel, or similar advanced materials required.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM systems, pricing models, and market intelligence tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and drive continuous operational improvements.
