We are seeking a dynamic and strategic commercial leader to serve as the Head of Direct Accounts for our IT Staffing and Data & AI division. This executive will oversee a portfolio of key direct accounts, driving customer satisfaction, growth, and long-term partnership value. As a client-facing leader, this role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational discipline, and executive relationship management to expand market share and deliver cutting-edge technology talent solutions.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own and lead the success of a portfolio of direct accounts, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Develop tailored client strategies to drive account penetration and long-term growth, with a strong focus on IT staffing in Data & AI.
- Shape account plans aligned with client business goals, positioning our firm as a trusted partner in technology talent solutions.
Client Partnership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives and decision-makers.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on workforce planning, IT staffing models, and data/AI transformation initiatives.
- Ensure proactive engagement to anticipate client needs, resolve challenges, and unlock new opportunities.
Business Growth & Innovation
- Drive growth across services, including staff augmentation, managed services, and strategic workforce solutions.
- Partner with delivery and recruiting leaders to ensure top talent alignment and timely fulfillment of client needs.
- Innovate staffing solutions to meet evolving demands in cloud, data, and AI technologies.
Financial & Commercial Ownership
- Own P&L accountability for direct accounts portfolio, driving revenue growth and margin optimization.
- Monitor and forecast account performance, ensuring strong pipeline health and customer retention.
- Negotiate and secure client agreements that balance customer satisfaction with profitability.
Team & Market Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and empower account managers and client engagement teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Share market insights and emerging trends in IT staffing, AI, and digital transformation to shape client solutions.
- Act as a thought leader internally and externally, representing the organization at industry forums and client events.
Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive experience in IT staffing, technology consulting, or talent solutions.
- Proven success in managing and growing portfolios of multimillion-dollar accounts.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Financial acumen with direct P&L ownership experience.
- Expertise in IT staffing with exposure to data, cloud, and AI markets.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative client engagement and workforce solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
