Job Summary

As an on-call substitute Instructional Aide, and under the general supervision of a certificated teacher and the technical direction of the District Nurse and/or medical personnel, this position supports students with exceptional needs by performing specialized physical health care services and procedures. Additional responsibilities include assisting with classroom instruction and related duties as assigned.

OUHSD is actively seeking to hire multiple on-call Substitute Para-Educators to expand our substitute pool. These positions primarily support our Specialized Health Care classes, working with students who require medical and physical assistance in addition to instructional support.
