Maintenance Tech - A and B Nights

Responsibilities Level 1:

• Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements
• Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production
• Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service
• Maintain good housekeeping in all areas
• Handle company equipment with care
• Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed
• Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager

Responsibilities Level 2: 

• Perform responsibilities associated with a Level 1 Maintenance Technician as well as the following:  
• Inspects condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements. 
• Assists with identifying equipment deficiencies and helps to prevent further recurrences.
• Identifies faulty equipment and acquires parts and requests parts and equipment to complete repairs.
• Ability to use electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, infrared scanning equipment and other tools as necessary for servicing equipment.
