Position Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers, aligning HR practices with organizational goals. This role supports employee engagement, leadership development, and compliance while providing guidance on workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent development. The HRBP works closely with leadership to strengthen culture, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives
• Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and leadership effectiveness
• Support talent acquisition efforts including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance culture, morale, and retention
• Advise on compensation, promotions, and organizational structure in alignment with company policies
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights on trends such as turnover, engagement, and absenteeism
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
• Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (benefits, payroll, training) to implement programs effectively
• Facilitate training and development initiatives for managers and employees
• Manage workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master’s preferred)
• 5 years of progressive HR experience, including business partner or generalist responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Ability to build trust and effective relationships at all organizational levels
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Nice-to-Have Skills
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
• Experience supporting leadership development programs
• Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated environments
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
