- Compensation: $38–$48/hr DOE

Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical systems using engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Install copper and fiber optic cabling using industry best practices
- Test electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair high-voltage systems and associated equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory and test systems
- Diagnose faults and replace defective components as needed
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environments
- Support inventory management and technical material coordination
- Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation
- Support engineering teams in rapidly evolving R&D environments
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of hands-on technical experience in electrical, mechanical, maintenance, or engineering support environments
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience using hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced technical environments
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. daily
Preferred
- Military technical experience highly transferable
- Experience with high-voltage systems
- Background in power generation, nuclear, electronics, or mechanical systems
- Experience with SolidWorks or Revit
- Forklift certification
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field
- Experience working in R&D or laboratory environments
