Summary
You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the PRODUCTION DIVISION of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will provide a variety of duties required to develop and evaluate service provider performance and effectiveness.You will perform a wide range of oversight duties in support of Production maintained facility and utility systems.You will conduct reviews of in-house and contractor submittals such as design review, preventative maintenance plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and commissioning plans.You will prepare cost estimates for projects and preventative maintenance plans technical portions of project specifications, design memoranda, and design analysis for assigned facilities and structures.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing multiple projects to include, but not limited to construction, alteration, modification, operation, maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and utility systems and infrastructure; 2) Identifying procedures to troubleshoot and prepare technical scope of work to effect a wide range of complex construction and repairs to critical infrastructure; 3) Translating knowledge of shop operations into plans, estimates, and operational sequences or phases applicable to assigned projects; and 4) Preparing technical engineering specifications, statements of work, and drawings of work covering complex engineering designs and changes.
