- Provide federal tax compliance and consulting to industry-specific clients.
- Serve as a tax advisor for day to day matters with clients from middle market to multinational.
- Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC740 projects
- Research tax issues, respond to IRS inquiries, and provide client recommendations
- Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters in various tax areas.
- Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Network and build strong internal and external client and community relationships
- Invest in professional development through firm-wide programs
- Support team growth and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Law, or a similar degree in Business.
- CPA or JD required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm.
- Two years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
- Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
- Exceptional client service.
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Sense of urgency and dedication to quality and timely project completion.
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
