- Lead risk based IT audits, including planning, risk assessment, control evaluation, testing, and reporting.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to IT leadership and senior management.
- Support annual audit planning through risk assessments and audit universe input.
- Facilitate IT risk assessments, lessons learned sessions, and management action planning workshops.
- Maintain audit plans and prepare timely, accurate workpapers.
- Recommend improvements to audit methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Educate business and IT teams on IT controls and risk management practices.
- Provide guidance to junior audit staff and participate in cross functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- Six years of relevant experience, including three years in IT audit or information security.
- Strong understanding of IT environments, risk management, and project management.
- Professional Certifications such as CPA, CISA, CFE, or CIA preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, verbal and written skills are required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software tools.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to effectively interface with operating management at all levels.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within the state of Michigan.
