As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will be primarily responsible for generating new revenue by selling Multimodal and Transportation Management solutions to middle market prospective clients in the consumer-packaged goods industry.

- Prospecting new opportunities within defined target market. This position will work towards increasing market share with new accounts and growing existing accounts that are potentially assigned. This would be accomplished through prospecting via social media, phone, and email along with trade shows and other networking events.
- Onboarding new customers to build a robust pipeline and client portfolio.
- Developing and managing new customers while answering questions and resolving problems.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure we provide the highest level of service.
- Understanding our client’s specific technology platforms: TMS and other web-based systems
- Maintaining an organized and updated pipeline of prospects by updating CRM system with client details, sales activities and follow-up actions.
- Seeking out additional, outside resources to further your learning and development of sales and logistics
- Traveling to retail trade shows.
- Staying up to date on the industry including market conditions, industry advancements, trends and predictions.
- Minimum 5 years in the Logistics Industry with a proven track record of sales results.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Thrives in a role where multi-tasking and problem-solving are the daily norm.
- Ability to speak to a diverse group of professionals in-person and over the phone, large and mid-sized groups.
- Can positively respond to change and adapt to new customers and business priorities.
- Ability to adapt to new and changing technology needs in a work setting.
