Orion Solutions Group is partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company known for its high-engagement culture. We’re seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the operations team, bringing both technical expertise and leadership to drive efficiency, safety, and overall performance. This role will focus on process optimization, cost control, and timely delivery, with responsibilities including plant layout and equipment planning, managing production and logistics operations, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining strong communication with customers.

- Evaluate and enhance manufacturing workflows, equipment utilization, and labor allocation to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
- Design and implement process improvements based on lean construction principles.
- Supervise and mentor production staff by overseeing daily activities, providing feedback, and supporting skill development.
- Perform time studies and job hazard analyses to support better project planning and risk mitigation.
- Assist project managers with scheduling, logistics planning, and resource allocation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and overall productivity
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, and site teams to streamline material flow and prevent delays
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within files and ERP systems
- Oversee product and process quality to ensure alignment with specifications and customer expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 4–7 years of relevant industrial or engineering experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of lean principles and practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and manufacturing safety best practices
- Ability to read blueprints and work with equipment and service vendors
- Proven ability to manage and develop a growing production team
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Transportation and logistics experience is a plus
