Job Description
- Manage and lead trademark litigation matters from strategy through resolution
- Handle cases in federal court, including drafting and arguing motions
- Develop case strategy, assess risk, and advise clients on litigation posture and outcomes
- Conduct written discovery, manage document production, and prepare discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions, including party and third-party witnesses
- Work with experts and prepare expert discovery where applicable
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Draft dispositive motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
- Collaborate with internal teams and support staff to drive cases forward efficiently
- Maintain clear, timely client communication and produce high-quality work product
Qualifications
- Active Texas Bar license required
- Federal court admissions required
- 10 years of trademark litigation experience
- Strong motion practice and brief writing skills
- Deposition experience and comfort handling complex discovery
- Strong judgment, client communication, and case ownership mindset
- Trial experience is a plus
