Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney (Plaintiff-Side)

Pay: $160,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year

Location

This position is primarily on-site at our Port Washington, Long Island office. While the firm currently operates fully in-office, very limited remote flexibility may be considered for the right senior attorney once established.

Note

You must be admitted to practice in New York State and have at least 6 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience with proven trial experience. Trial experience is a hard deal breaker.

Job Description

• Lead and manage a caseload of complex personal injury matters from filing through resolution or verdict
• Serve as lead or first-chair attorney in trials, hearings, and significant depositions
• Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and drive litigation decisions
• Conduct and oversee depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Appear regularly in court and represent clients at all stages of litigation
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with paralegals and support staff
• Work directly with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• Active admission to the New York State Bar
• 6 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
• Demonstrated trial experience as lead or significant trial counsel
• Strong case evaluation, negotiation, and courtroom skills
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and deadlines
