Location: This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity, 1 day in office, 4 days remote in Washington, DC.
Note: Candidates must have at least 3 years of Family Law experience and 1 year of supervisory or management experience overseeing paralegals.

Job Description
- Supervise, mentor, and support the Family Law paralegal team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
- Oversee daily workflow, staffing priorities, workload distribution, and department efficiency.
- Partner closely with Family Law attorneys to ensure cases move efficiently from intake through resolution.
- Review legal work product to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, settlement agreements, financial affidavits, and legal correspondence.
- Monitor court calendars, hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and case deadlines.
- Assist with complex Family Law matters including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, domestic violence, contempt actions, and post-judgment proceedings.
- Train, onboard, and mentor new paralegals while providing ongoing coaching and support.
- Develop and improve department procedures, workflows, and best practices.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, mediators, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain organized case files while ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Family Law experience required.
- 1 year of supervisory or management experience overseeing paralegals required.
- Strong litigation support and case management experience from intake through resolution.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, financial affidavits, and court filings.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active matters while leading a legal support team.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and client-service focus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Experience with Washington, DC Family Law procedures is strongly preferred.
