Location
Hybrid role based in Leesburg, Virginia, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely as appropriate.
Note
This role requires at least 3 years of civil litigation experience with a reputable law firm, including first- or second-chair experience in court; in-house-only backgrounds will not be considered.

Job Description
- Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, briefs, and pleadings in Virginia courts
- Take and defend depositions and manage discovery strategy
- Appear in court, including hearings and trials, as first or second chair
- Work directly with clients to develop case strategy and deliver results
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys across practice areas
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Virginia Bar license in good standing
- 3 years of civil litigation experience with a law firm
- First- or second-chair litigation experience in Virginia courts
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
