Location
New York, NY. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days per week in our New York City office and 3 days working remotely.
Note
Active New York Bar admission and 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience are required. New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.

Job Description
- Handle insurance defense litigation matters from initial assignment through resolution.
- Develop case strategy, investigate claims, evaluate exposure, and move matters efficiently toward favorable outcomes.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, dispositive motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
- Prepare for and take depositions, attend court appearances, and participate in motion practice.
- Maintain clear, timely reporting and communication with insurance carriers and clients.
- Manage deadlines, discovery, case files, and competing priorities while maintaining excellent client service.
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys while taking increasing ownership of your own matters.
Qualifications
- Active New York Bar license in good standing.
- 2 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and case-management skills.
- Litigation experience involving depositions, motion practice, discovery, and client or carrier reporting preferred.
- Experience with general liability, commercial auto, trucking, casualty, or coverage matters is highly valued.
- New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
