What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Food Runner position at Origin Coffee Co.?
Origin Coffee in Saranac Lake and Lake Placid is seeking a full or part time dishwasher to join our team in Saranac Lake. Job responsibilities include washing dishes, running food to tables, dining room maintenance and light food prep . If you have a positive attitude, good customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team we welcome you to apply. Shifts generally run from 8am-2:30pm. Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Support the kitchen team in catering events and daily restaurant operations
- Operate kitchen equipment
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food industry setting
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with knife skills and kitchen tools
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
