- Perform building and grounds security checks and provide authorized facility access.
- Serve as an initial on-scene incident commander during emergencies.
- Prepare incident, crime, medical, and other reports.
- Support access control, security-camera systems, emergency drills, and public-safety operations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of qualifying experience in campus public safety, military police, corrections, law enforcement, police reserves, or a DPSST-certified armed/unarmed security position.
- Current driver license and insurance, plus ability to meet the college’s vehicle-insurance requirements.
- Intermediate computer skills including word processing, email, and spreadsheets.
