What are the responsibilities and job description for the lead banquet server position at Oregon Garden Resort?
Love working events? Enjoy leading a team and making sure guests have an amazing experience? We’re looking for a Lead Banquet Server to help us make weddings, parties, and special events at Oregon Garden Resort unforgettable.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the banquet service team during events — keep things running smoothly and guests happy.
- Set up and break down banquet spaces (tables, chairs, linens, décor, etc.).
- Guide and support banquet servers and staff during service.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to make sure food and drinks are served on time.
- Jump in where needed — you’ll be both a leader and a hands-on team member.
- Ensure the space looks great, stays clean, and service stays professional.
What We’re Looking For:
- Banquet, catering, or restaurant experience (lead or supervisor experience is a plus!).
- Someone who communicates well and keeps calm under pressure.
- A reliable team player with attention to detail.
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and being on your feet during events.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when events happen.
- OLCC permit Food Handler’s card (or willing to get them).
