Oregon Garden Resort is hiring a Light & Display Crew Supervisor to lead the construction, installation, and maintenance of seasonal lighting, holiday displays, and decorative installations for the Christmas Market and other events.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building and installing large-scale displays while supervising a small year-round crew and a larger seasonal team during peak event periods.
The ideal candidate brings strong construction skills, leadership experience, and a creative eye for outdoor displays. A passion for installing holiday lighting and creating memorable seasonal environments is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Construct and install holiday lighting, scenic elements, and decorative displays
- Perform light construction, including carpentry, painting, and basic electrical setup
- Lead and supervise installation crews during setup, event operations, and teardown
- Ensure displays are installed safely, correctly, and to design standards
- Troubleshoot installation issues and maintain display quality throughout the season
- Support site improvements and maintain clean, safe work areas
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, landscaping installation, scenic fabrication, or event production
- Experience with landscape design, outdoor display design, or decorative installations preferred
- Prior experience leading a crew or supervising field teams
- Comfortable using power tools and working at heights
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors year-round
- Forklift or aerial lift experience preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
