Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Education Specialist educates students in grades 7-12 in College Board and/or Common Core aligned curriculum, plans, develops, organizes, and implements a comprehensive educational program for students, creates a supportive and flexible learning environment to nurture each student’s personal growth, communicates regularly with students, families and staff, and collaborates with colleagues to reflect on and refine instructional practice while maintaining confidentiality practices and complying with all federal and state mandates related to students with disabilities.
