Job Summary
Under the leadership of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Dean of Student Culture & Supervision serves as a visionary instructional leader who drives the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of school-wide programs to ensure a high-functioning and effective learning environment. With an emphasis on fostering a positive and inclusive school culture, this role provides oversight of student behavior and supervision, ensuring that every student is held to high expectations while being supported within a structured, nurturing environment. The Dean of Student Culture & Supervision also serves as the primary steward of school safety and behavior, proactively cultivating a secure and respectful environment rooted in restorative practices where both students and staff feel protected, valued, and empowered to thrive. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and charter regulations while fostering a high-quality learning environment that supports student achievement, staff development, and community engagement.
