Public Health Nurse

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chapel Hill, NC & Hillsborough, NC, for a Public Health Nurse. In this position, the Public Health Nurse will provide health education, preventative care, and clinical services to individuals and communities. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering vaccinations, coordinating care plans, and promoting community health initiatives. The nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams, perform case management duties, and educate residents on health practices to improve public health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Public Health Nursing and Community Health
• Capabilities in Nursing and general Medicine related practices
• Skills in Case Management and coordinating care plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain attention to detail
• Valid RN licensure required; BSN or MPH preferred
• Experience working in public or community health settings is a plus
