Job Description
General Functions:
The Development Coordinator Role in Transportation Planning is responsible for assisting the Road Agreement Section in administrative management, project management and review related to Development review, Proportionate Share Agreements, Road Agreements, and Miscellaneous Agreements.
Representative Duties/Assignments:
Prepares Meeting Minutes, BCC Memos, and other Correspondence
Agenda Preparation
LDMS Updates and Database Maintenance
Coordinates and manages report processing and ensures that research, reports and analysis documents are conducted and completed according to established standards in the section. Transportation Credit Account establishment and tracking.
Vested Trips (Horizon West) and Concurrency tracking through Proportionate Share Agreements
Emergency Operation Preparation Response and Recovery
Maintains effective and productive communications with team members, internal/external customers Assists the Chief in developing and compiling information for the development of the section work programs. Manages work programs as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Planning, Public Administration, Engineering, Geography, Physical Science or closely related field and one (1) year of experience in planning and/or zoning fields; or Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Public Administration, Engineering, Geography, Statistics, Physical Science or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in planning and/or zoning fields; or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Preferences:
Knowledgeable in the County's Land Development Management System (LDMS).
