Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development & Administration
- Design, develop, and maintain training programs, curricula, and learning materials for government personnel.
- Create and update training manuals, guides, presentations, e-learning content, and other instructional resources.
- Ensure training content aligns with organizational goals, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding, refresher, compliance, leadership, and technical training programs.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate training events, workshops, webinars, and educational sessions.
- Manage training calendars and coordinate logistics with instructors, vendors, facilities, and participants.
- Monitor employee participation and maintain training attendance and completion records.
- Ensure timely communication regarding training schedules, requirements, and updates.
- Serve as a resource and advisor to employees regarding available training, certifications, career development opportunities, and continuing education programs.
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend development plans for individuals and teams.
- Identify external training providers, conferences, workshops, and certification opportunities that support workforce development goals.
- Guide employees and management on professional growth and skill enhancement opportunities.
- Develop, organize, and maintain a centralized training library containing instructional materials, reference documents, course catalogs, and learning resources.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain records of completed training activities and certifications.
- Evaluate and recommend new learning tools, technologies, and training methodologies.
- Assist with the planning, tracking, and administration of training and development budgets.
- Monitor expenditures related to training programs, educational resources, conferences, and external learning opportunities.
- Coordinate with training vendors, educational institutions, and service providers to secure cost-effective learning solutions.
- Ensure training investments align with organizational objectives and budget constraints.
- Generate reports on training participation, completion rates, certifications, and workforce development metrics.
- Analyze training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify trends, skill gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide recommendations to leadership regarding future training initiatives and workforce development strategies.
- Experience coordinating corporate, government, or organizational training programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and project coordination skills.
- Experience managing training records, learning management systems (LMS), or educational databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, instructors, and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, and learning management systems.
