Job Purpose
Plays a vital role in daily operational support, special technical projects, and the management of a team of field service representatives in support of the Vehicle Inspection Program. Supports the program by managing station service, recruitment, retention, anddaily business operations as well as by participating in software QA and technical project management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
- Creates Strategic Plans and manage projects according to strict deadlines and budget
- Develops and maintain project plans, including schedules and resource allocation
- Develops and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Provides technical support and feedback throughout all life
- Communicates and collaborates directly with all teams to meet
- Report and escalate project issues to management as needed
- Develops effective reporting to track and display performance metrics
- Represents company at weekly status meeting with governmental agency client
- Takes lead on special technical projects
- Takes lead on day to day interaction with the project manager and engineering team to help drive projects to completion
- Provides leadership and mentorship for departmental staff
- Provides management of inventory for all program locations and oversees yearly physical inventory
- Performs other tasks as necessary at the direction of the Program Manager
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Foster strong communication and collaboration ensuring a cohesive and efficient work environment
- Experience managing teams of 4 or more individuals
- Comfortable holding others accountable, even if they are cross-functional
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Project required
