The Paris Café, an OPUS Hospitality concept, has reopened in the heart of the Seaport District and we’re building a sharp, reliable brunch team. We’re looking for Brunch Cooks who can own their stations, move with purpose, and execute with consistency during high-volume weekend service.General Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchenStrong breakfast and brunch fundamentals (eggs, proteins, griddle, grill, sauté)Must have your own knivesSolid knife skills and ability to follow directionAble to lift up to 50 lbs as part of essential dutiesCommunicate clearly and effectively in EnglishMaintain a clean, organized station during serviceReliable and consistent with time management, especially for early shiftsSet up and break down station completely and independentlyCore Responsibilities:Execute egg cookery with consistency (poached, over-easy, soft scramble, French omelets, etc.)Manage multiple tickets under pressure during peak brunch rushWork the griddle, sauté, grill, and oven with speed and accuracyCook proteins to temp and plate dishes cleanly and efficientlyPrepare and assemble composed salads and sidesMaintain momentum and standards through long AM service windowsBonus Points:Previous brunch experience in an upscale casual or high-volume settingCulinary school or certificationCuriosity, initiative, and a willingness to learnLocation:The Paris Cafe119 South StreetNew York, NY 10038Opus Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
