NOW HIRING: DIRECTOR OF QUALITY/RISK
We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader to oversee Quality, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Performance Improvement initiatives across a hospital setting.
This role is ideal for an RN leader with strong experience in quality improvement, accreditation readiness, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance within acute care healthcare environments.
MUST HAVE (NON-NEGOTIABLE):
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience in:
- Quality Improvement
- Risk Management
- Nursing Leadership
- Patient Safety
- Acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Joint Commission standards
- CMS regulations
- Accreditation readiness
- Risk mitigation and compliance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in Quality Management preferred
- CPPS or CPHQ certification preferred
- Experience with Leapfrog, patient safety initiatives, and accreditation surveys
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Quality & Performance Improvement
- Lead hospital-wide Quality and Performance Improvement programs
- Oversee accreditation readiness, mock surveys, and regulatory compliance
- Manage patient safety initiatives and quality metrics reporting
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA), FMEA, and corrective action planning
- Analyze quality outcomes and implement process improvement strategies
- Lead infection prevention and surveillance initiatives
- Facilitate organizational readiness for Joint Commission and CMS surveys
Risk Management
- Oversee facility-wide risk management and patient safety programs
- Investigate incidents, adverse events, and liability exposures
- Manage claims investigations and risk mitigation processes
- Develop annual risk management reports and presentations for leadership
- Coordinate safety initiatives, event reporting, and variance investigations
- Partner with legal counsel and leadership regarding claims management and compliance
Leadership Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department directors
- Supervise Quality staff and Clinical Educator teams
- Provide education and guidance on regulatory and patient safety standards
- Drive organizational culture focused on safety, compliance, and quality outcomes
Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
