MUST HAVE (NON-NEGOTIABLE):
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Iowa RN license or compact state nursing license eligible to practice in Iowa
- Current BCLS certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and patient care standards
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health and psychiatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and document progress accurately
- Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patient education, rehabilitation, and crisis intervention efforts
- Maintain compliance with behavioral health and nursing standards
Pay: $63,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
