HCM Functional Consultant - (PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM) - On-Site in Jersey City, NJ
Optomi, in partnership with a leading global consultancy, is seeking a HCM Functional Consultant to fulfill a long-term contract with a client based in Jersey City, NJ.
The organization is modernizing its HR technology landscape by consolidating employee documents currently stored across multiple HR systems and archival repositories into a centralized cloud-based document management platform.
Today, employee contracts, payroll records, pension documents, benefits information, and other HR records reside across numerous legacy systems supporting different HR products. This role will work closely with Product Owners across each HR function to determine what documents should migrate, how they should be classified, who should have access, and what retention policies apply.
Rather than performing the technical migration, this individual will serve as the Functional Lead responsible for documenting business requirements and providing detailed specifications that guide the technical migration team.
What the Right Professional Will Enjoy!
- The opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale HR transformation initiative focused on consolidating employee documents from multiple legacy HR platforms into a centralized cloud repository!
- The opportunity to partner directly with HR Product Owners across Payroll, Benefits, Pension, 401(k), Compensation, and other HR functions to define how critical employee records should be classified, secured, retained, and accessed in the future-state platform!
- The opportunity to bridge HR and Technology by translating business needs into functional requirements that drive the migration effort!
Apply Today If Your Background Includes:
- 5 years supporting enterprise HR technology platforms such as PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud, or similar HRIS solutions
- Strong functional and technical understanding of PeopleSoft HCM, including HR data structures, document repositories, security, and system configuration
- Experience supporting enterprise HR system implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives
