We are seeking a Mid-Level .NET / SQL Developer to join our development team supporting enterprise applications and strategic initiatives. This role is heavily focused on SQL development (approximately 75%) with the remaining 25% dedicated to .NET development. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient developer who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time while partnering closely with the Lead Developer on new development efforts.
This position does not involve front-end development and is best suited for someone with a strong back-end development background.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications with a primary focus on SQL development.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support .NET application development and maintenance for backend services.
- Partner with the Lead Developer as they transition into a more architectural role.
- Build integrations with existing systems by consuming and interacting with APIs.
- Participate in technical design discussions and recommend improvements to application performance and database design.
- Develop scalable, maintainable solutions with minimal supervision.
- Support ongoing automation initiatives and enhancements to internal business applications.
Experience:
- 5 years of professional software development experience (exceptional candidates with slightly less experience may be considered).
- Strong SQL development skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing applications using the .NET framework and C#.
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and quickly become productive.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
