What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Class A CDL Reefer Driver – $35/HR – $1,800+ Weekly position at Optimum Logistic Solutions?
Responsibilities
- Earn $35.00/HR | $1,800 Weekly | OT After 40 Hours
- Receive an additional $75 Layover Pay
- Enjoy 100% No-Touch Freight delivering food products, including chicken
- Operate a Sleeper Truck with a 53' Reefer Trailer
- Complete multi-stop OTR routes to warehouses and distribution centers
- Routes may travel throughout the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Texas
- Most routes require approximately 2–3 overnight layovers, with longer trips possible depending on distance and backhauls
- Start times typically range from 7:00 AM–11:00 PM, depending on the assigned load
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience
- Must have experience operating Class A equipment with 53' trailers
- Reefer experience preferred due to transporting food products
- Must be comfortable with OTR, multi-state, multi-stop routes
- Must be willing to complete 2–3 overnight layovers per route
- Must have schedule flexibility as start days and dispatch times vary based on loads
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
- No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
