Responsibilities
- Earn $25.00-$26.00/HR | OT After 40 Hours
- Paid Weekly | Part-Time | On-Call Opportunities | Flexible Schedule
- Work Sunday-Saturday with 8-10 hour shifts as work becomes available.
- Operate a Day Cab or Box Truck pulling 28' or 53' Dry Van trailers for multiple local clients.
- Deliver bread and HVAC equipment throughout the Knoxville area and within a 300-mile radius, with occasional regional routes.
- Perform touch freight using roll carts, pallets, and pallet jacks, with opportunities for drop-and-hook loads.
- Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure safe, accurate deliveries.
- Provide reliable service while filling in for multiple customers and adapting to changing routes and schedules.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
- Must be at least 23 years old.
- Experience operating Day Cabs, Box Trucks, and 28' or 53' Dry Van trailers preferred.
- Comfortable performing touch freight, including unloading bread on roll carts or pallets, and using a manual pallet jack.
- Must be flexible and available for on-call assignments, including occasional regional runs.
- Strong safety record, dependable attendance, and excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, Background Check, and MVR Review.
